Creo Tolerance Analysis Extension (TAE)
Powered by CETOL technology, Creo TAE is an extension to Creo Parametric. With it, you can evaluate the impact of tolerances and dimensioning on product designs before the product reaches prototyping or manufacturing.
Creo TAE provides two analysis tools: worst-case analysis, often used for critical components, which considers what happens when each component in the stack-up reaches the maximum acceptable measurement; and statistical analysis, where each component's variation is modelled as a statistical distribution and these distributions are added together to predict the distribution of the assembly measurement.
Using these tools, designers can produce products that meet customer requirements within acceptable margins — resulting in shorter product development cycles, lower product cost, and higher product quality.
Creo GD&T Advisor for MBD
Creo Parametric 4.0 is the go-to release for model-based definition (MBD). Creo GD&T Advisor is an extension to Creo Parametric 4.0 that provides expert guidance on the application of GD&T, and validates that it has been done correctly.
